Hi, I'm Zenia, and I'm a producer. I spend most of my time working on TV documentaries about history and science, and in my spare time I produce short films, mostly about art and ancient history. I also produce an improvised comedy troupe called The Runaways - I run their social media pages and book their gigs. We perform regularly in Salisbury and London - please do come along to our next gig!
I studied Classics at Durham University and I'm genuinely passionate about making and sharing documentaries about the ancient world, bringing history to life and making it relevant to today. I keep up to date with all things ancient, and love visiting archaeological sites.

In my career so far I have been fortunate enough to work on a wide range of specialist factual programming for both UK, US and international broadcasters, including the BBC, Channel 5, Al Jazeera, Discovery and History Channel. I have produced shoots in the UK and abroad, and have developed projects from idea to commission.
Independently, I produce short films. In 2018, my short documentary about an art workshop that sparked a Government debate won Best International Documentary at 300 Seconds Short Film Festival. Other documentaries I have made include a 15 minute film about the emperor Hadrian, which I also presented, and a piece for Durham Student TV about the humanitarian artist Hannah Rose Thomas.
My first exposure to media production came when I worked as a voice artist and presenter for Yellow House Limited.
I am a firm advocate of mentoring initiatives. I write a blog called Trail to TV aimed at new entrants into the TV industry, which is designed to share what I've learned on my journey.
